RICHARD MARCHETTA:  Folk/Jazz/Blues Guitar

Richard Marchetta is a Folk/Jazz/Blues guitarist based in Los Angeles, CA. He has performed with a dozen artists over the years at a variety of venues and is one of LA's beloved guitarists. His first CD "Greenhouse Effect Blues" (2001) was the recipient of the New York State Grant in collaboration with the Libba Cotton Conservancy at Hendricks Chapel, Syracuse, University, NY.

Richard Marchetta is currently at work on his 3rd CD “Angels and Aerials” ©2013/ASCAP with guest artists Bret Hammer, Simon Hancock, and New Orleans’ resident Mike Dill on clarinet and national resonator. “Angels and Aerials” is a concept album about angelic ladies and topical events in Los Angeles. Some of the tracks include “The Blue Line”, “Griffith Park is Burning Up”, and “A Song for Abigail”.
